The young Conservatives of Solihull were out in force this Bank Holiday Weekend. In response to requests from local residents, the youngsters, along with Maggie Throup, Cllr Mark Parker and local campaigner Karen Grinsell all worked together on this rainy Saturday to clean up overgrown vegetation and litter in Shirley.

Friends gathered together for a ‘Blooming Great Tea Party’ to raise money for Marie Curie’s Big Build Appeal. Hosted by Solihull resident Maggie Throup, there were scones and cakes galore to suit every palate.

This comes at the same time as the Prime Minister held talks with some of Europe's biggest car manufacturers to discuss the advanced manufacturing industry and the Government's commitment to its success.

Solihull Job Club has now been running for over two years, helping job seekers with their CVs, interview practice, job search skills and self-esteem.
