The Conservatives took to the streets on Saturday to spread the word about their policies that are helping to secure the future of the NHS for Erewash residents.
Maggie Throup, Erewash’s prospective MP said: “There is lots of good news when it comes to the NHS for local residents.
“Locally, our GPs were successful in their bid for an extra £1 Million from the Prime Minister’s Challenge Fund which is being used to provide extended primary care access.
“Nationally, an extra £12.7 Billion will be spent on the NHS from 2010 to 2015, already providing 8,000 more doctors, 2,500 more NHS nurses and nearly 1,700 more midwives.
“It is clear that only the Conservatives are committed to securing our NHS, free at the point of use, for our future generations.”
