I was delighted to meet Erewash’s new Police Inspector, Matt Ladd, at my community office on his first day in his new role.
With Erewash recently receiving national media attention due to several serious incidents, it is important to maintain a good working relationship with our local Police to ensure I can assist them in keeping our community safe.
During our meeting we talked about our shared desire to see crime reduced across Erewash as well as the importance of maintaining and increasing community confidence. Inspector Ladd shares my ambition of tackling anti-social behaviour, so often fuelled by alcohol and drugs.
I would like to thank Inspector Ladd for visiting me today and I look forward to working with him closely.
