Maggie demands action over Long Eaton gridlock

Erewash MP Maggie Throup has written to Derbyshire County Council on behalf of local residents, to urge them to take action to avoid a repeat of roadworks that have brought large parts of Long Eaton to a standstill.

Local MP Maggie Throup is urging Erewash residents who are at risk of getting flu to get their free vaccine jab before winter sets in as it emerged that 120,432 missed out on protection last year across Derbyshire.

Maggie Presses PM on HS2 Property Compensation

Erewash MP Maggie Throup has asked the Prime Minister to “personally intervene” to ensure that local residents directly affected by the route of HS2 do not lose out as a result of the inadequate property compensation scheme currently in place.

Maggie’s roaming advice surgeries return

Local MP Maggie Throup will again be holding a series of roaming advice surgeries across Erewash for constituents to drop in and discuss any issues or concerns they may have.

Erewash MP pressures Minister into HS2 compensation rethink

The Minister responsible for overseeing HS2 is to look again at the suitability of the HS2 property compensation package currently being offered to residents living in Long Eaton following pressure from Erewash MP Maggie Throup.
