Flood warning and alerts issued across Erewash

Due to the recent rainfall caused by Storm Henk, the Environment Agency has issued a FLOOD WARNING and a number of BE PREPARED flood alerts across Erewash.

A FLOOD WARNING has been issued for the River Erewash at Ilkeston. Areas most at risk include Station Street and Furnace Road.

A BE PREPARED flood alert has also been announced for Draycott, Long Eaton, Sandiacre, Sawley and Stanton Gate.

Please avoid using low-lying footpaths near local watercourses and plan driving routes to avoid low-lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded.
