It was fantastic to speak at BIVDA’s parliamentary reception about the importance of In Vitro Diagnostics, the vital role that diagnostics play in improving patient outcomes as well as the valuable role that British diagnostics companies play to our economy.
BIVDA is the national industry association for manufacturers and distributors of diagnostic tests in the UK, which I helped co found a number of years ago. BIVDA represents over 95 per cent of the industry and more than 230 organisations.
The reception provided an excellent chance to highlight the value and opportunity of diagnostics amongst parliamentarians. A big thank you to all BIVDA members for joining us today for what was an excellent reception.
